Nepali Art, Handicrafts and decorative items

Nepali art, handcrafts and traditional decorative items are very popular among Nepalese as well as to foreigners. Most of them are hand made which hold cultural and historic significance to the people and the country. Detailed wood carvings in Aakhi Jhyal (traditional window/ small decorative frame), beautiful artworks in vase and in the khukuri (Nepali traditional knife) case are some of the few examples of Nepali handcrafts and decorations showing the cultural significance in them and are appreciated and loved by people all around the world.
